Ranges on the outdoor Parade Square. Canteen will
still be running, Make sure to bring water!

Directions to Connaught:

Drive down Rifle Rd.

Turn left onto Malibar Blvd.

Turn right onto Lee Enfield Rd.

Stop at the big parking lot on Brisby Blvd.

MANDATORY PARADE

Saturday June 13th

Location: Cartier Drill Hall
2 Queen Elizabeth Driveway, Ottawa, ON K2P 2H9

Arrival: 8am
ARRIVE IN CIVILIAN CLOTHING BRING YOUR DRESS UNIFORM AND ALL THINGS NEEDED TO GET READY.( polish and polish cloth , lint roller, ect. )

Lunch will be provided to the Cadets.

PARADE Timing : Parents are to arrive for 100pm and please be seated by 115pm.
Cadets will March off at 130pm.
Reception to follow.

PARENTS

We will have a potluck style reception to follow please if you are able to bring some sort of snack or treat to donate it would be greatly accepted but don't feel obligated.

THIS IS THE FINNAL PARADE OF THE YEAR. IT IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE AND BE PROUD.

Drop-off: Friday, 29 May at 1800 hrs Location: 5 Brouillette Blvd Pick-up: Sunday, 31 May at 1500 hrs

Cadets are to arrive on time and prepared to deploy to the training area.

Attendance

This activity is only open to cadets who have previously registered.

If cadets are unsure of their registration status, they are to:

Training Environment

Cadets will be in the field (outdoors) for the entire weekend, with limited access to indoor facilities. Proper preparation is essential.

Key Kit Reminders

Cadets must follow the issued kit list. In particular:

Rain gear is strongly recommended Sleeping bag is required If a cadet does not have one, limited sleeping bags are available Cadets must notify Corps staff during training this Tuesday if one is required Cadets must bring warm clothing and a change of clothes

Cadets who are not properly equipped may not be able to fully participate in all activities.

Special Instructions

Senior Cadets (Sgt+/ALP)

May bring a reasonably sized pocketknife for training purposes (with unit approval)

Food Sensitivities

Cadets with dietary requirements are to self-identify to staff upon arrival Unit staff will compile and submit requirements to Admin Meals will be adjusted where possible For significant restrictions, staff will work directly with the cadet to identify suitable options

Important Reminders

Discouraged Items

Valuable personal items (electronics, jewelry, etc.) Cadets are responsible for their own equipment

Prohibited Items

Unauthorized weapons Drugs or alcohol Va**ng products Clothing with offensive or inappropriate content

Possession of prohibited items may result in disciplinary action.

Final Notes

This FTX will provide an excellent opportunity for cadets to develop fieldcraft, teamwork, and leadership skills alongside other units across the area.

If there are any questions or concerns, please contact Corps staff prior to departure.
