Celebrate our youngest community members at the Baby Welcoming Ceremony during the 25th Ottawa Indigenous Children and Youth Pow Wow. This annual event honours newborns with a welcoming song and special acknowledgment from our Elders.

In collaboration with IEYC member organizations and the Ottawa Aboriginal Coalition, we are excited to share information regarding the 25th Annual Ottawa Children’s Pow Wow!

Join us on April 25th from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the EY Centre as we come together to celebrate our babies, children, and youth.

Event Highlights include Baby Welcoming Ceremony and Grand Entry.

We look forward to celebrating this special day with our children, families,and community members.

The Indigenous Early Years Circle invited you to join us for our annual Resiliency Day event!

We welcome you to come together with community to honour Indigenous resilience, culture, and strength with Elder-led openings, cultural performances, kids’ activities, raffles, and free lunch.
Please wear an orange shirt if you can.

The event takes place on Friday, September 26 from 10AM–3PM outdoors at Tom Brown Arena, 141 Bayview Station Rd.

Parking is limited, we encourage those able to take transit if possible

Yesterday was the IEYC Back-to-School Celebration 🎉
The afternoon was filled with fun activities, delicious food, and great company.
It was wonderful to see our community come together to kick off the new school year with so much energy and joy.
Maarsii, Miigwech, Qujannamiik, Nia:wen, Hiy Hiy and Thank You to all the families, and organizations who helped make it happen.
We can’t wait to see you at Resiliency day in fall🧡
