Calling all young artists ages 12 and under!

We're excited to launch the Lionhearts Ottawa Colouring Contest, featuring a special Lionhearts community scene inspired by the work our volunteers and supporters help make possible every day.

Each winner will receive a GIANT 4.2 kg Giacomo Chocolate Bunny!

How to Enter:

Unit 1, 119 Iber Road, Ottawa

Once you've finished colouring, return your completed entry to the warehouse between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Community impact often happens through simple acts of generosity.

Today, Lionhearts volunteers Ron and Kevin delivered a brand new Weber BBQ to Ronald McDonald House Ottawa, helping support families staying close to their children during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

At Lionhearts, our mission goes beyond food recovery. Every day, we help connect donated goods and practical resources with charities, shelters, and community organizations serving people across Ottawa.

Ronald McDonald House Ottawa helps families stay in their child's fight. When a child is in hospital at CHEO, families don’t just visit - they stay. As the only national organization enabling access to Canada’s paediatric healthcare system, Ronald McDonald House helps families stay together, providing essential services that strengthen families and promote healing when a child needs healthcare.

We're proud to share pantry items, laundry and cleaning supplies, toys and electronics, arts supplies, and other non-perishables with the 36 families they serve locally, providing encouragement and hope during a difficult season.

West Carleton Emergency Food Access Centre is open to all West Carleton Residents year-round. It provides up to 4 - 5 days of food once a month, including fresh food.

The Stittsville Food Bank provides a helping hand to those in need in the Stittsville Ward. They distribute non-perishable and perishable food items as well as a limited list of personal toiletries. The Stittsville Food Bank is run entirely by unpaid volunteers and has been in operation since 1992.

We're proud to support them as one of the 93 local agencies and frontline service providers we redistribute food and goods to in the greater Ottawa area! When you invest a dollar with us, we turn that into $15 of community impact in support of great organizations like this!

Teen Challenge Canada operates 12-month in-residence alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation programs, for adults 18+, with their closest centre located in Renfrew just west of Ottawa. They offer help and hope to those struggling with alcoholism and/or addiction to other drugs. Those in addiction, their family and friends, begin their restoration at Teen Challenge.

Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue is is 100% volunteer run and dedicated to getting adoptable cats off the streets and into homes in and around the National Capital Region, as well as managing feral cat colonies in this area. They make every effort to adopt cats into indoor homes through their Adoption Program. If you haven't started thinking about Mother's Day, this is your reminder!

Throughout the year, we receive hygiene supplies, candles, and other things to help moms in our community feel special. With less than a month to go, we're starting to assemble care bags to be given to the agencies we work with, and passed on to local moms - agencies like the Stittsville Food Bank, Kanata Food Cupboard, and local women's shelters.

We're able to give to these agencies because you support our work, keeping our doors open and vehicles on the road. Thank you for your generous contributions of time and financial contributions that make stories like this possible!
