We are absolutely bursting with pride for our incredible OrKidstra Ambassador, Kellylee Evans! 🎻✨

On June 10th, her alma mater, Carleton University, will be awarding her an Honorary Doctorate in Music! 🎓🎵 Not only is she receiving this massive honor, but she has also been asked to deliver the keynote convocation address to the graduating class!

On May 27, OrKidstra's Friday Chamber Winds had the incredible honour of performing at Sport Canada's Reception for Olympians and Paralympians, celebrating the athletes who proudly represent Canada on the world stage. 🎶

These photos capture a special moment from the event, featuring OrKidstra Co-Founder and Artistic Manager Tina Fedeski with Prime Minister Mark Carney, as well as our talented young musicians performing throughout the reception. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the power of music, mentorship, and community in helping young people build confidence, develop their talents, and reach their full potential.

Thank you to Sport Canada for including our young musicians in this inspiring celebration of achievement, dedication, and Canadian pride. 🍁👏

Warming up and tuning up! On May 23, during the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, Team OrKidstra was ready to move! ✨🏃‍♀️

Before hitting the pavement, our amazing team made sure to log some serious stretching time and get into the zone!
