Caring for your mental health and well-being doesn’t have to be done alone 💓

Practicing self-care, staying connected with your friends and family, and practicing moments of mindfulness and meditation techniques can help make mental health challenges feel more manageable.

This workshop day will be hosted at the Osgoode Youth Association in Osgoode, ON (5479 Osgoode Main St).

Participants will be introduced to the core principles of trauma-informed practice, exploring how stress and trauma impact a developing brain and nervous system. You will learn practical skills and strategies to build inclusive, safe environments for youth, while also learning practical self-regulation and boundary-setting strategies to support oneself.

Participants will also receive lunch, a $50 dollar honourarium, and a certificate upon completing the training day.

Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions/concerns, or specific dietary requirements.

*Please note that parents/caregivers or anyone who works outside of Rural Ottawa will be put on our waitlist, as this training is meant for mentors of rural youth who have regular contact with multiple youth. Waitlisted individuals will be contacted prior to the event and invited to attend if spots remain.
