Haven is a Behavioural Therapist and lead Kindergarten educator specializing in working in an ABA and IBI setting. Even though working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) is her job, it has such a more personal and deep meaning for her. Her love for working in ABA and working with those with ASD is due to the fact that one of her loved ones was diagnosed with ASD at a young age, and H
aven saw how without supports from the community and our government, that children with ASD can be set up for failure in a public school system. Haven loves being a behavioural therapist and working on gaining and maintaining new skills with her students. Haven has used her platform as a pageant queen (Miss Canada East Role Model 2022) to help her develop her Raise Your Voice platform. As a neurodivergent person, Haven hopes to break down barriers and sigmas around Autism Spectrum Disorder in various ways such as being a spokesperson, hosting events, creating care kits, and being a strong advocate for those around the globe with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
