Primary Objectives:
a. Preventing and/or reducing social isolation of Seniors by
Creating means of opportunities to socialize with other people that knows their language and culture. Enhancing Ethiopian-Canadian senior citizen relationship one another and to the general community of Ottawa. Empowering seniors by Promoting and increasing their awar

eness of opportunities in Canada. Encouraging seniors to share their knowledge, skills and experience with others in the community by introducing volunteer opportunities. Identifying partnerships between Canadian and Ethiopian seniors to have cultural exchange and other area of mutually beneficial initiatives. To provide a vehicle for fostering knowledge of Ethiopia to young Ethiopians

Secondary Objectives:
a. Forming chapters or branches of the Association across Canada. Promoting the establishment of a sister organization in Ethiopia.

ያለፈው ቅዳሜ April 25 የሚያዝያ ወር ወርሃዊ ፕሮግራማችንን አካሂደናል። ስብሰባው እጅግ ውጤታማና ሁሉም በንቃት የተሳተፈበት ነበር!
በውይይታችንም ስለ CPP፣ OAS፣ GIS እና RRSP ዋና ዋና ነጥቦች በጥልቀት ተመልክተናል።
ሁሉም ሰው በንቃት ሲሳተፍ፣ ጠቃሚ ጥያቄዎችን ሲጠይቅና እነዚህን መርሃ ግብሮች እንዴት ውጤታማ በሆነ መንገድ መጠቀም እንደሚቻል የራሳቸውን ግንዛቤ ሲያካፍሉ ማየት በጣም ደስ የሚል ነበር።
በዚህ ጠቃሚ የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ መርሃ ግብር ላይ ተገኝታችሁ አስተዋጽኦ ላበረከታችሁ ሁሉ ከልብ እናመሰግናለን::

This past Saturday, April 25th, we held our monthly program for the month of April. The meeting was incredibly productive and everyone participated actively!
During our discussion, we took an in-depth look at the key points of CPP, OAS, GIS, and RRSP.
It was wonderful to see everyone engaging, asking important questions, and sharing their insights on how to use these programs effectively.
We sincerely thank everyone who attended and contributed to this valuable information session.
