The Environment Funders Canada conference kicked off in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island today. As the Chair of the Conference Committee, I was thrilled to welcome over 100 funding leaders from across Canada to the Atlantic region. The first day was a wonderful start to the learning event with many interesting themes and speakers. Being on the Board of Directors for Environment Funders Canada has been an excellent opportunity to contribute to collaborative philanthropy. I have just accepted my final two-year term and look forward to continuing this important work.
