Sometimes, a creative space can be more than a place to make art. It can be a place to feel seen, find connection, and imagine what’s next 💛

For youth experiencing homelessness, OSA’s art programs can offer a chance to step outside their immediate circumstances, connect with others, and simply create. Your support helps make spaces like this possible and helps ensure they’re here for the next person who needs them.

✨ Help shape the future of art and community at OSA. Learn more about future giving at ArtOttawa.ca/donate/future 🔗

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities forever impacted 🧡

At the Ottawa School of Art, we recognize the power of art to carry stories, memory, and resilience. We encourage our community to take time to listen, learn, and engage with the work of Indigenous artists.

We humbly acknowledge that OSA operates on the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin, Haudenosaunee, and Mohawk Peoples, and recognize our responsibilities toward ongoing reconciliation 🪶

As we reflect on Truth and Reconciliation, we invite our community to take time to listen, learn, and engage with Indigenous artists and their stories 🧡
