We are the voice of Canada’s aviation and aerospace sector on identifying labour market challenges and providing workforce development solutions.

The Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace is the only national association dedicated to attracting and developing workers with the skills the aviation and aerospace industry needs to meet the demands of the current and future workforce. We assist companies with accessing government funding for training and certification of new/prospective employees. We work with various levels of governments on expanding workforce development and up-skilling funding opportunities on behalf of the industry. We play a leadership role in attracting new workers to the industry and strives to ensure that Canada has the capacity and programs needed to educate and train them.

What We Will Cover:

Phase 1: Audit Preparation
Execute thorough gap analyses, build custom checklists, establish finding thresholds, apply sampling theory, and schedule resource requirements.

Phase 2: On-Site Ex*****on
Conduct structured briefing meetings, navigate communication dynamics, observe work performance, and audit both paper and electronic records.

Phase 3: Rigorous Report Writing
Draft compliant findings, document evidence with precision, and establish clear follow-up procedures.

Phase 4: Corrective Action Plan (CAP) Support
Guide operators through effective CAP development and define the auditor’s role in verifying long-term resolution.

Applied Practice Day (October 21st)
Utilize the non-lecture day between live sessions to build custom checklists, draft valid findings, and evaluate real-world CAP responses.
