Wateridge Community Clean Up

We will be holding our annual spring community clean-up on Saturday May 2nd, 2026 from 9:30 AM to Noon.

We will meet at the Eugène Martineau Park ice rink.
All required materials including trash bags, recycling bags and gloves are provided.

Please help clean up our parks and boulevards throughout the community.

The Wateridge Village Community Association is planning a cultural festival in Alliance Park and we're inviting YOU to help create it! Host a booth and share a special piece of your culture with your neighbours: a display, lesson, activity, demonstration, performance or anything else you can think of. You can even sell as a vendor. Here are a few suggestions:

The Wateridge Village Hosers team broke their own record yesterday! So far this season, the Eugène Martineau Park Ice Rink has been open for skating 50 days, beating the 2024-2025 season count of of 49 days.

A big thanks to all the volunteers - who have given us some of the best ice in the city!

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and Veterans’ House Canada invites Canadians of all ages to take part in Valentines for Vets by creating a handmade card.

A few kind words can go a long way, offering a powerful reminder to our Veterans that they are remembered, valued, and truly appreciated. Wateridge Village Community Association

A winter weather parking ban will be in effect tomorrow, Monday January 26, beginning at 10 am.

Please do not park on streets until 7 pm so crews can plow easily and effectively.
