Dear Clients, Volunteers, Community Members and Stakeholders,
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of the settlement services provided by Maidan Market effective July 4; while continuing the ESL Program.
Established in May 2022 with the support of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Ottawa Branch, Maidan Market has provided a sense of community and invaluable assistance to those settling and integrating into Ottawa.
July 4 will mark the last day for in-person visits to Maidan Market. This decision comes after much consideration, and while it is difficult to say goodbye, we are incredibly proud of all we have accomplished together.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey. Your support, participation, and enthusiasm have been the lifeblood of Maidan Market. Whether you were a newcomer, a volunteer, a client, or a stakeholder, your contributions have made a significant impact on our community.
For our stakeholders and clients, we will be in touch regarding any necessary transitions or final arrangements. Volunteers, we will provide guidance on concluding your roles and ways you can continue to support community projects.
Thank you once again for being part of Maidan Market. Your involvement has been invaluable, and we look forward to staying connected through future community endeavors.
