We are dedicated to the resettlement of LGBTQ+ refugees who are fleeing death, beatings, and many other forms of assault and abuse in their home countries. We at Ottawa Rainbow Refuge are very aware that there are many LGBTQ+ 🌈 people around the world living in dangerous circumstances who want to come to Canada. We are very sorry but we cannot respond to your requests. We are a small organization
with limited capacity, and are already committed to bringing a small group of people to Ottawa. If you are in your country of origin, you should contact Rainbow Railroad. This organization doesn't sponsor, but may assist in getting you to a safe country of asylum: https://www.rainbowrailroad.org/
If you are outside your country of origin, for example having escaped to a neighbouring or other country, you should register with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). They have a presence in over 130 countries.
