It was such a treat having the crew from A Spice Affair join us. We made chicken shawarma sandwiches, soup and salad with the spices they donated to the Care Centre.

We are committed to ensuring that our guests have access to a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables each day. This is made possible through our partnership with (Bank Street) and the . This year, we were fortunate to receive grant funding though the Ottawa Food Bank's Global and Healthy Marketplace stream that has helped to enhance availability of ethnoculturally sensitive choices. Our guests loved your delicious soup and chili and you won everyone over with your chocolate chip cookies (made with white beans)!
