Today is our final National Outreach Session to receive feedback from Federal Indian Day School Survivors and their families on how the $200 million MDSSC Legacy Fund should be implemented to best serve Survivors and those related to them. It starts at 11:30 AM EST and runs until 4 PM EST with an optional 30-minute mental health aftercare session at the end. Please keep in mind that we have technology supports available to help you connect via Zoom. You are welcome to have your families and other supports with you on screen when you connect. We thank everyone who has participated so far in our virtual National Outreach Sessions — we have witnessed such incredible discussions and ideas from Federal Indian Day School Survivors and their families.

Our FINAL virtual National Outreach Session is on Monday, February 14th from 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST. We have dedicated mental health and cultural supports available throughout this session.

If you are a Federal Indian Day School Survivor (or related to one), we would be honoured to receive your feedback on the MDSSC Legacy Fund, and how it can best be administered to meet the needs of Survivors. We have a new message from our Board!

"Survivors and their families know their needs better than anyone else. It was with this understanding, humility, and deep respect that MDSCC launched an engagement process in Fall 2021. Our purpose: to get guidance and direction from Survivors on goals, priorities, values, and activities for the Corporation, given its four key areas of focus."

We are inviting all Federal Indian Day School Survivors and their families to our upcoming virtual National Outreach Session this Tuesday, January 25 from 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST to provide feedback on the administration of the MDSSC Legacy Fund!
