Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Hike for Hospice yesterday 💜

We are so grateful to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, pledged, and helped spread the word. Your support helps provide compassionate end-of-life care and grief support to individuals and families throughout Oliver, Osoyoos, and Okanagan Falls.

At Desert Valley Hospice Society, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

They show up with compassion, kindness, and a willingness to support others during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Whether they are offering comfort to clients and families, helping behind the scenes, or supporting our programs and events, their impact is felt every single day.

Because of our volunteers, individuals in our community are met with dignity, care, and connection when they need it most. Their generosity of time and spirit strengthens not only our organization, but the entire community we serve.

Our thoughts are with the Tumbler Ridge community during this difficult time. We recognize that many individuals and families across our region are experiencing grief, shock, and deep sadness.

Grief can show up in many ways — whether you are directly affected or simply feeling the weight of it, please know you do not have to carry it alone. Desert Valley Hospice Society is here to offer compassionate bereavement and grief support. If you or someone you know would benefit from support, we encourage you to contact our office to learn more about available resources and programs.
