Forward your resume to [email protected] to apply to the next YERP intake! Youth Employment Readiness Program (YERP) is a 25-week paid employment program offered with continuous intakes. YERP has been helping youth in the Durham Region since 2009. Young adults are guided through self-assessments, essential workplace readiness skills, and enhanced traditional and alternative employment search met

hods. During the first 9 weeks, participants receive a training allowance based on 30 hours a week at minimum wage, followed by a 16-week quality work experience placement, where employers receive $7200 in reimbursed wages. Funded in part by the Government of Canada. The mission of our team is to support young adults - ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and career development. We work collaboratively with youth, along with relative resource personnel to provide development opportunities. Therefore lowering the youth unemployment rate in Durham Region and the GTA, with a 93% success rate. Visit yerp.ca for more information
