Big congratulations to the Oshawa Legionaires 13U Baseball Team for winning the Championship for a 2nd year in a row! CUPE 2936 has been a sponsor both years and we are so proud to see their hard work result in back to back championships! ⚾️

Come to the Labour of Love Festival at Memorial Park on Labour and also visit the Canadian Automotive Museum for free! Bring the family!

We're excited to share that we'll be open for FREE admission this Labour Day Monday September 7th!

In partnership with the Durham Region Labour Council, we're welcoming the community to visit the Museum and explore our exhibits.

Our Vice President spent time this morning on the picket line with Local 361 OPSEU Group. 13 weeks on the line and they are going strong with pancakes, dancing and most importantly, SOLIDARITY! It’s time to stand in solidarity with our labour family at OPSEU/SEFPO Local 361.

After 13 long weeks of being locked out, these workers are still standing strong and tomorrow, their CEO is finally heading to the bargaining table.

The Durham Northumberland CUPE Council is calling on CUPE locals, members, activists and allies to come out and help fill the picket line. Let’s show OPSEU/SEFPO Local 361 what solidarity looks like and make sure their employer knows these workers are not standing alone.

Steward Learning Series: Bargaining, Arbitration & Duty of Fair Representation
Take a deeper dive into the steward's role in bargaining, understand what happens when grievances proceed to arbitration, and learn about our legal responsibilities under the duty of fair representation.
