June 12th is Pulse Remembrance Day. This year is 10 years since the Pulse Nightclub Attack that took place in Orlando, Florida.

Today we are mourning and remembering the 49 victims who lost their lives in the Pulse Nightclub Attack.

We remember their loved ones, the survivors, and the first responders who carry the weight of that night.

🌈 This June, we’re proud to partner with and for a community food drive in support of .

From June 1 to 30, residents can donate food, personal hygiene items, and toiletries at collection bins across Clarington. Donations will help stock the DAO Pantry, which provides food, toiletries, and other essentials for the 2SLGBTQIA+ and allied community.

This Fiesta, help us fight hunger with Durham Alliance Outreach at the Fiesta Week Concert & Street Festival on Sunday, June 21 from Noon to 5 PM!

Stop by their booth as they collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations to support individuals and families in need across our community. Every can, every dollar, and every act of kindness makes a difference.

🎉 WE HAVE A WINNER! 🎉

Our DAO Spring Online 50/50 Raffle has officially wrapped, and we are thrilled to announce that Ed, one of our volunteers is taking home $2,550! 💰

In an incredible show of generosity, Ed is donating $550 of his winnings back to DAO. ❤️

That means DAO will receive a total of $3,100 from this raffle to help support DAO, the community and the DAO Pantry Food Bank.

To everyone who bought tickets, shared our posts, and helped spread the word, thank you. Your support made this fundraiser a huge success, and the impact will go far beyond this one draw.
