10am- 1pm to hike Bowmanville Creek South & Historical Bowmanville 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️.
Followed by lunch in downtown Bowmanville.
The salmon will be running in Bowmanville Creek.
Rated- Easy
Distance- 6-8km
Meeting- 9:45 am for a 10am start .
PARKING INFORMATION HAS CHANGED
We are now meeting at 95 Baseline Rd W as there is a new No Frill at this address with free parking.
We will then walk east using the sidewalk on Baseline Rd to the Bowmanville Creek South Trail.
Please remember that this is a long weekend, so adjust your traveling time accordingly.

Saturday morning was perfect timing for a hike before a very wet and cool weekend began.
Members hiked 9km on the Millbrook Valley Trails system. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶
We started out from the Old Millbrook Library and Family Centre , where we enjoyed visiting their lovely gardens . Then we ventured along the Baxter Creek and Cedar trails. Many new boardwalks made the going easier .
After the hike we all enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Moody's Bar and Grill.😋

After over 20 years of living in Ontario , many of them as active members of the Durham Outdoors Club , Scott and Tessa are headed back home to British Columbia.
As a reasonably new member, Scott stepped up and held the position of President of our club for a few years and later became our web site administrator and newsletter editor.
We've traveled many miles together on foot and by canoe and you are going to be greatly missed.
The club executive held a farewell lunch this past Monday to show our appreciation for your friendship and to wish you both well on your future adventures .
