Good afternoon,

Attached are the updated heat guidelines for 2026.

Ultimately all decisions related to player participation are up to the parents. Players should attend all sessions with enough water, and dressed appropriately for the weather. When temperatures are higher players should have extra water as a rule.

On the Club side when temperatures are higher, OASA coaches will monitor player activity, offer more breaks during their sessions, and when necessary will shorten sessions. When games are scheduled referees will provide additional water breaks.

Thank you.

Good afternoon and welcome to the 2026 grassroots season!

We have made it! The 2026 grassroots season begins tomorrow!

Thanks very much for your patience as the OASA volunteers have navigated numerous issues. such as coach shortages, roster coordination due to low numbers at certain age groups and issues with the Powerup system, to have everything ready to go for tomorrow night.

This can be a very hectic time of year for those who are volunteering their time in service to the community, and OASA’s volunteers are very grateful for the support and understanding of the community that we serve.

Schedules and teams are populated to the extent required at this time. If you cannot see your schedule in the app, you may have to log out and back in for it to populate. The Powerup app will be everyone’s main source for schedules and contact between coaches and parents/players.

Additionally, OASA will send out periodic emails with important information related to cancellations, player safety, or other events and opportunities. We would encourage you to verify that you have opted in to receiving emails so that important messages will not be missed. OASA cannot guarantee that individual inquiries will be answered if bulk communication has been provided or sent.

This message serves as the written direction for the first grassroots sessions on Monday and Tuesday night. If there are any urgent issues or questions between now and tomorrow, please direct them to [email protected].
