It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the loss of one of one of our beloved Orillia Terry Fox Run Terry's Team Member, Janet Coombs.

Janet was such an inspiration for all of us with her incredibly positive outlook despite multiple bouts with cancer and other issues. Janet was a huge supporter of The Terry Fox Foundation and was always happy to share her story to provide hope for others.

I will miss Janet and it is difficult to imagine a Terry's Team Breakfast for Champions or the Terry Fox Run without her by my side with her happy outlook.

We are thinking of her family and dear friends at this time.

Registration is open for the annual Terry Fox Run!

"Today is the day it all begins..."

Terry travelled to Outer Cove Beach, collecting two bottles of Atlantic seawater. He planned to keep one as a souvenir and pour the second one in the Pacific Ocean when he arrived home, but the blustery ocean carried one bottle out to sea.
