DISTRIBUTION BRANCHES - Our Year Round Work! Year round, Uplifting Blessings collects and distributes donations based on the needs of the service organizations that we work with. Each branch is run by manager(s), who generously donate their time, space and energy to get this work done! Our amazing community stocks up our Uplifting Branches with material donations. When we receive orders for items from our service organization partners, we use what we have in stock at each branch to gather the needed items. ADULT CLOTHING BRANCH: Shannon McKillop, Manager
Manager Shannon McKillop oversees, organizes and facilitates collection and distribution of adult and young adult clothing for Uplifting Blessings. We can only accept donations that we are in need of - check out our Facebook Group, that’s where we will post any needs we have! CHILDREN’S CLOTHING BRANCH: Montana Hassard, Manager
Manager Montana Hassard oversees, organizes and facilitates collection and distribution of children’s clothing for Uplifting Blessings. Clothes collected are for ages Infant to 12 years. CLOTHING SORTING BRANCH: Cheryl Pye, Manager
Manager Cheryl Pye works with our Children and Adult Branch Managers to organize and sort donations as well as track and maintain stock. BAGS OF HOPE BRANCH: Rebecca Christine & Andrea Thursby, Co-Managers
Managers Rebecca Christine and Andrea Thursby oversee, organize and facilitate collection and distribution of hygiene items for all Uplifting Blessings initiatives, as wells organize and and fulfill all hygiene item orders. DELIVERIES BRANCH: Marni Longhurst DeLong, Manager
Organizes and executes pickups and deliveries for all branches, as well as provides all transport of Uplifting Blessings deliveries. NOTES OF ENCOURAGEMENT: Wherever possible, we include Messages of Encouragement to accompany all of our material donations that are distributed to the vulnerable community. Manager Alicia McLeod hand-creates the majority of the messages we deliver, a collects and organizes notes made by the community, and prepares all notes for distribution. Notes of Encouragement are designed to uplift recipients - to let them know they are not alone in their journey. Manager Donna Scott oversees assembly of Comfort Packages, including the collection of basket contents as well as facilitation of basket distribution. Comfort Baskets are baskets filled with items to aid adults and young adults (13+) going through difficult times. Each basket is designed with the specific needs of the recipient in mind as specified by the service organization who requests a basket. SUITCASES OF LOVE BRANCH, Alex Burnett, Manager
Manager Alex Burnett oversees the assembly of Suitcases of Love, including the collection of suitcase contents as well as facilitation of suitcase distribution. Suitcases are filled with items to aid vulnerable children in our community. Each suitcase is assembled with the specific needs of the child in mind as specified by the service organization who requests a basket. SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR SUCCESS BRANCH: Montana Hassard, Manager
Montana Hassard oversees, organizes and facilitates collection and distribution of backpacks and school supplies, which are distributed to children and young adults in need. INTERIM MANAGER, Marni Longhurst DeLong
