-The Thrift Store/ Foodbank and Soup Kitchen are all closed tomorrow . We will reopen Thursday at 11:am.
-We will have “LOONIE DAYS SALES on Thursday, June 4 and Tuesday, June 9. Children’s Clothing- 2 for $1, Adult Clothing- $1 each, Kids’ Shoes & Sandals - 50 cents each pair, Adult Shoes-$1, Hats 50 cents each!
Come on down!

-Just a gentle reminder- due to continued vandalism, PLEASE bring your donations INSIDE the Sorting House ( 11-3pm on Tuesdays/Thursdays). These donations help support the Onion Lake Foodbank. We want to make sure your generosity is respected.

- A special THANK YOU to the person(s) who cleaned up the parking lot and area around the thrift store/ foodbank a few weeks ago. What a great contribution to our community !

- Another THANK YOU and appreciation to the wonderfully enthusiastic and energetic young staff at Recreation - you are always ready to come on over and help us with our heavier tasks! We just love chatting with you too- so positive, so willing and so appreciated. What great community neighbours !

Please remember to bring your donations ONLY WHEN WE ARE OPEN ( Tuesday/Thursday-11 am-3pm). Bring them to the South Door of the small building.

Onion Lake Foodbank sends its heartfelt appreciation to all those who have made clothing and household donations to the thrift store which helps support those in our community experiencing food insecurity. We have re-organized the sorting building. Please bring your donations to the front door of the old schoolhouse building.

Beginning April 2, we are organizing an additional way to support the foodbank -“TOONIE TUESDAY” is a foodbank fundraiser. Tuesdays from 11:30 -1:30 eat lunch in our little cafe-homemade bowl of soup, bun, coffee or tea and dessert for just $2/person. Purchase your lunch ticket at the thrift store counter!

March 24 and 26 - $5/Big Bag Sale! The store has been restocked for this sale.

The Thrift Store will ONLY BE OPEN for bread, not shopping, on Tuesday, March 17. The foodbank, cafe soup kitchen and store are all CLOSED that day for restocking. Thanks for understanding!
We will be back to regular hours on Thursday, March 19 ( 11 am-3 pm).

The Thrift Store is having dollar daze on Feb 26 and Mar 3. Everything excluding housewares,is available for a dollar or less. Hot dogs will be available for purchase as well.

A very special thank you to Daylin Dillon, Shandyn MacDonald, Kieran Mountain and Kali Alexan from Recreation! They have given us outstandingly terrific help as we move into the new foodbank space ( just west of the Thrift Store). Amazing people doing amazing things! We absolutely appreciate your positive attitude, your energy and your enthusiasm!

The Thrift Store is having Bag Sales this week- Tuesday and Thursday, January 20 and 22 from 11-3 pm. Two Bags for $5.
for the rest of this winter, please bring your donations directly to the Thrift Store ONLY when we are open ( Tuesday/Thursday- 11-3pm). This ensures they are secure. Many thanks to all the people who have donated or purchased items at the Thrift Store! This helps support the Onion Lake Foodbank.
