Mountain Estates is a sub-division close to the south boundary of Riding Mountain National Park, just east of Elkhorn Resort. The Mountain Estates Landowners' Association was formed to create a forum to talk, discuss, advocate, lobby, and promote the values and purpose of the landowners who live within Mountain Estates. With over 60 landowners, Mountain Estates is accessible via Route 262 east of

Onanole, or from Mooswa Drive East accessible from Highway #10 in the national park. It is one of the Onanole sub-divisions that is closest to the national park boundary, offering quiet, no street lights, views of the north sky, and a variety of residential properties.
