March was all about making an imprint ☘️

We dove into the much-anticipated printmaking class with Renu Matthew — exploring Dry Point Etching.

A beautifully process-driven technique, dry point etching has been used since the late 15th century. Notable artists such as Rembrandt and Mary Cassatt embraced this expressive form of printmaking.

It was wonderful to slow down, carve with intention, and see what impressions unfold on the plate and on the paper.

As the light shifts and the landscapes begin to change, so does our creative energy.
Soft greens emerging.
Longer shadows.
Fresh colour palettes waiting to be explored.

What does this season stir in your art?
