We’re growing our Optimist family! 💙💛
The Okotoks Optimist Club and Junior Optimist Club (Kids 4 Kids Junior Optimist Club of Foothills Alberta ) are welcoming new members who want to make friends, have fun, give back, and make a difference right here in our community.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We’re a family-focused service club, which means adults and youth can get involved together. Our Junior Club gives kids and teens ages 5–17 opportunities to volunteer, build confidence and leadership skills, and have a voice in how they want to help their community.
Adult membership is $140/year, and Junior Optimist membership is included with an adult membership.
Whether you’re new to the area, looking to meet more people, wanting to get your kids involved in meaningful activities, or simply looking for a way to give back — we’d love to have you join us!

We’re a local volunteer organization bringing kids, families and adults together to make a positive difference in the Foothills.

Through community projects, youth programs, events and volunteering, we create opportunities to give back, build friendships and help our community grow.

Some of our Junior Optimists spent the day building their lemonade stands in preparation for Lemonade Day Okotoks! 🍋

These young entrepreneurs are hard at work turning their business ideas into reality. They’ll be selling delicious lemonade, learning valuable business skills, sharing a portion of their profits with local non-profits, and saving toward future goals and dreams.

We can’t wait to see their creativity, determination, and community spirit shine on Lemonade Day! 💛

Hi, my name is Amy, and I'm a Junior Optimist Club advisor.
I'm an Optimist because I believe that when we invest in youth, we shape the future of our community. I find joy in seeing young people grow through service, learning empathy and respect, and discovering the power they have to create positive change.
