Join us for a cleaning bee this Wednesday, June 3 at 1:30pm. Tasks will include sweeping and dusting buildings and grass trimming.

Museum opens this weekend so any help this week with be greatly appreciated.

The 2025 Ogema Remembrance Day Service will be held Tuesday, November 11 at 10:45am at the Ogema Heritage Hall. This year's service will also include a short presentation by Bernie Cruikshank, daughter of Harold and Thelma Dunn.

Following the service, wreaths will be laid at the Cenotaph with snacks and coffee afterwards back at the Heritage Hall.

Don't feel like cooking? Come to our Fall Supper at the Deep South Pioneer Museum. Carol will be at the Ogema Second Hand Store today (November 3, 2025) to sell tickets for the supper. See you then!

The museum would like to thank the Ogema Community Auction Committee for another generous donation! This will allow us to complete the roof replacements on our heritage buildings. This has been a multi-year project and we're excited to complete the last of them this fall.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made this years Museum Show Day so special. There was lots to do for everyone. Starting with the pancake breakfast, the church service, the music, the bouncy castle, the parade of machinery, the hamburger stand, the cold plate and pies, and the hands on demonstrations- rope making, blacksmith, arrowhead making and of course the bathtub rides! The weather even cooperated! Also thank you to everyone who came to take in all the festivities and toured through the buildings. All and all, another memorable day to end a great weekend.
