KyivPride Canada is a not-for-profit organization that supports the idea of uniting LGBTQI and straight Ukrainians, Canadians, and other nations in an alliance for the development of equal rights for all people in the countries where LGBTQI rights are oppressed, and for supporting LGBTQI looking for safe haven where they can be the

mselves. For KyivPride Canada, Ukraine free of bigotry and prejudices, Ukraine as a safe country for all people, and Ukraine as a country of free possibilities, and diversity is one of the priorities we are inspired by. In so doing, KyivPride Canada wishes to inspire and motivate people, throughout the world, to show them hope and possibility, and to “Inspire a World of Change” so that LGBTOI people are safe from persecution in Ukraine and throughout the world. The mission of KyivPride Canada is to unite all Canadian people, including the Ukrainian community in Canada, for the generous help and support of LGBTQI fleeing the threat of prosecution for being who they are. We organize and support projects that work to improve human rights for LGBTOI in countries where they are pressed and support those LGBTQI who are coming to Canada seeking protection, intercultural exchange, and community empowerment for LGBTQI people all over the world.

🇨🇦 🇺🇦 Stand with Ukrainians – Sign the Petition e-6866 for a Fair Path to Stay in Canada

Thousands of Ukrainians came to Canada under emergency programs like CUAET and similar humanitarian measures, fleeing war and uncertainty. Since then, they have become essential to our communities – working hard, paying taxes, filling labour gaps, and building lives here.

Now, they need a fair and practical path to Permanent Residency.

📝 The Petition e-6866, sponsored by MP Yvan Baker (Etobicoke Centre, Liberal Party), calls for a one-time PR pathway for Ukrainians already living and contributing to Canada.

💡 Why This Matters:
* Many Ukrainians have had over 3 years of legal residence and work in Canada.
* Many are are not eligible for regular PR programs due to limited quotas, age, or job classifications.
* Humanitarian and family reunification programs are either full or closed.
* Canada has done this before – like the 2021 PR pathway for Hong Kong residents.
* These individuals are valuable, integrated, and committed to Canada’s future.

* Ukrainians are helping keep our healthcare, trades, and services running.
* They have worked here, paying taxes, started businesses, created new jobs, and enriched our cultural landscape.
* They have embraced values and principles cherished and respected by Canadians and strengthened our communities.
