Thank you to everyone who made this season so incredible.

To our campers, thank you for showing up, trying new things, taking chances, and reminding yourselves just how brave and capable you are.

To our amazing staff, thank you for creating the inclusive, confidence-building space our campers need to thrive. Thank you for taking such incredible care of them, cheering them on, and being the role models they deserve.

And to our community of donors and supporters, we simply couldn’t do this without you. We’re so grateful to have you in our corner, making summers like this possible.

And yes, Camp Kirk really is full of sunshine and rainbows. 🌈

Bruce Springsteen Tribute band The Last Of The Duke Street Kings rocked the Lindsay Academy Theatre on Saturday night, helping to raise $15,000 for Camp Kirk. Many thanks to everyone who attended and participated in the 50/50 raffle. Your generosity makes it possible for us to provide financial aid to families so our camp remains accessible and inclusive to all children 💙

We have our first bike trail at Camp Kirk thanks to Tecasy Ranch and the amazing hard working friends that joined them on Sunday. We are excited to be able to expand our programs to offer campers new activities and ways to enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds us.
We are still looking for donations of gently used mountain bikes suitable for ages 7-18 years, just DM us if interested.

Session One you kept us on our toes!

Sure we lost power for a couple of days, but nothing could dim the Camp Kirk spirit. Between the laughs, adventures, friendships, campfires, and unforgettable moments, our campers reminded us that we don't need power to make Camp Kirk electric!

Thanks for an incredible Session One!

We already can't wait to see you again!

On Saturday, our staff celebrated the end of two intense weeks of training and preparation for the start of the 2026 season with Camp Kirk's annual Staff Banquet.

To say the energy in the room was incredible is an understatement.

In just two short weeks, this group has become a hardworking team united by one goal: making this the best summer Camp Kirk has ever had.

They cheered each other on as teammates received awards, sang their hearts out, laughed together, and celebrated the friendships and sense of community they've already built.

Fun fact: Take Me Home, Country Roads is the unofficial-official anthem of the Camp Kirk family.

Summer after summer, it's the song that reminds campers and staff alike that they've found a place where they belong. A place that feels like home, even if it's only for a few magical weeks.

And that home-away-from-home feeling is exactly what Camp Kirk is all about.

5 days until Session 1! 🏕️ Our staff have been hard at work! Setting up camp, deepening their skills, learning how to support our youth, diving into activities, getting a little silly, and building the bonds that make this community so special. We cannot wait to welcome everyone on July 1! 🎉

The games are over, but the impact is just beginning.

Thank you to everyone who participated in, sponsored, volunteered for, and supported the Tri-Kirk Cup.

Together, you raised more than $6,000 to help ensure neurodivergent children and youth can experience the confidence, connection, and sense of belonging that Camp Kirk makes possible.

Your support helps provide life-changing camp experiences for campers and families who need them most.

Thank you for being part of this incredible community and for helping make Camp Kirk possible.

Thanks to our event organizers for making the day run so smoothly! We appreciate you!

Throwback to one of Cameron's earliest summers at Camp Kirk.

Most people play the recorder with their mouth.

Cameron and his counsellor decided to try their noses instead.

Was it a little wacky? Absolutely.

Did it make the audience laugh, cheer, and celebrate? You bet it did!

At Camp Kirk, creativity doesn't have to fit inside a box. Neurodivergent children and youth often see the world differently, and that's something worth celebrating. Here, campers are encouraged to try new things, share their ideas, take risks, and be exactly who they are.

Sometimes that looks like discovering a hidden talent.

Sometimes it looks like finding the confidence to step onto a stage.

And sometimes it looks like playing a recorder with your nose while an entire camp cheers you on.

The magic isn't in the performance. It's in knowing you're supported enough to try.

Before camper begins this summer, many families are still counting on financial assistance to make Camp Kirk possible.

Years ago, donor support helped Graham send his neurodivergent son, Cameron, to Camp Kirk.

At camp, Cameron found a place where he was accepted for exactly who he is. Fourteen years later, he still returns each summer as a staff member. He is a true Camp Kirk success story.

Today, as a monthly donor, Graham is helping create that same opportunity for another child.

This year, demand for financial assistance has been especially high. Your support helps bridge the gap between what families can afford and the true cost of creating a camp experience where neurodivergent children and teens feel understood, accepted, and celebrated.

Donate today so another child can experience the same magic of belonging that changed Cameron's life.
