Hi there everyone, going through a crazy situation and welcome any words of encouragement, please.
With a lawyer, my kids and I are working through this.
Please share if you've anything to offer re: the same.

When I divorced Jeff 17 yrs ago, he offered to do a DIY divorce agreement to save money on legal fees.
However, turns out, it was also to bypass the divorce laws requiring substantiated financial disclosure for asset division.

B/c Jeff hid assets, there was no equalization of assets as per the law. Hence, in the eyes of the law, we are STILL not legally divorced b/c assets have not been divided!
In the interest of justice, the government's process is very clear. Without financial disclosure, fair divorces are impossible.

Unfortunately, despite knowing that, Jeff immediately got remarried and we embraced Jen into the family. His 'wife' even coached our daughter's soccer team with me.

It's so overwhelming, disappointing, confusing.

I hired a lawyer to rescind, stay, turn-over, Jeff's invalid 2007 separation agreement in court.

To remarry, oneI must be first legally divorced. Duh.

To remarry without meeting the requirements for DIVORCE is bigamy.

Curious if anyone out there as ever experienced such? If so, please share your story, and if not, please pray for Jeff, Jen, Jared, Sage and me. Thank You!

Jeff is a very meticulous detail-oriented guy, yet this huge cloud of uncertainty and shame, potentially bigamy now exists over our heads.

Today’s throwback interview is with, now, Mayor John Tory. Before that, he was the President and CEO, of Rogers Media and then Rogers Cable. John seems to have always led with a service orientation approach. Throughout his life, John Tory has lived his belief in the importance of community, giving freely of his time and energy. An avid sports fan, John also served as a volunteer Chairman of the Canadian Football League for nine years including four as League Commissioner. He is credited with returning stability and growth to the CFL.
Though my interviewing skills were lacking, his interview deserves to be seen as John is worthy of showcasing!

Peter C. Newman was born in Vienna, Austria, and emigrated from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia to Canada in 1940 as a Jewish refugee. He has been writing about Canadian politics for nearly half a century, including books on Prime ministers John Diefenbaker, Lester B. Pearson and Pierre Elliott Trudeau. He speaks four languages, has seven honorary doctorates, two Orders of Canada, three knighthoods, has written 24 books that have sold 2 million copies, and been married four times.

Newman is widely respected for his intimate knowledge and understanding of Canadian business leaders, and has written numerous books that have won him a half dozen of Canada's most illustrious literary awards, including the Drainie-Taylor Biography prize for his 2004 memoir, 'Here Be Dragons: Telling Tales of People, Passion and Power'. He is a former editor-in-chief of the Toronto Star, and a long-time editor at Maclean's, where he stewarded its transformation from a general interest magazine to a weekly newsmagazine.

He has been honored with a National Newspaper Award, has been elected to the News Hall of Fame, and has earned the informal title of Canada's 'most cussed and discussed' political commentator.

Another throw back interview, this time with Dr. Sherry Cooper, when she was an Executive Vice President and Global Strategist for the BMO.

She was the Chief Economist for BMO Capital Markets and THE megawatt celebrity economist in Canada. Sherry has also been cited as one of the most influential women in Canada!

Here is a throwback to one of two interviews done with my dear departed friend, Stanley Hartt.

Stanley Hartt O.C., Q.C. was the Chairman of Citigroup Global Markets Canada Inc. Prior to joining Citigroup, he was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Campeau Corporation (later O&Y Properties Corporation) from 1990 to 1996. From 1989 to 1990 he was Chief of Staff, Office of the Prime Minister. During the period 1985-1988 he was Deputy Minister, Department of Finance. From 1965-85 he was a partner with the law firm of Stikeman Elliott. Born in Montreal, he earned an Honors B.A. degree in 1958, an M.A. degree in 1961 and a B.C.L. degree in 1963 all from McGill University.

As the interview highlights, Stanley was a rich man. His depth of character and sense of Truth is what made him, to me, a great person, and client! Though he was a very busy man doing amazing things, he made time to also be the Chairman of my Not-for-Profit Board because he was a huge professional supporter and friend.

Stanley was truly a great man!

Today i share my interview with Ron Foxcroft! He, like Donald Ziraldo, and Jim Cuddy, is an Order of Canada recipient! Ron is the Chairman and CEO of Fluke Transport, Inventor of the Fox 40 pea-less whistle. Ron was named one of the top 10 Canadian Entrepreneurs of the Decade.

Leadership, Vision and Determination are the hallmarks of Ron's success and he shares with us the specific impact Vision has had in his life.

Ron also kindly endorsed my book, and was amongst my supporters who voted me amongst the Top 40 Under 40 in Canada. Ron is truly a gentle soul.

A year later, he was a guest on my show, and even kindly endorsed my first book! He and the band also wrote a song about me on their double CD, Things We Left Behind. My song, Sheba was song no. 5 on cd no.1! My second book,

As the new year approaches, can't help but take a quick inventory of where I've been through the years. In one chapter of my life, my Executive Coaching client asked me to do a tv show on his channel???? It evolved into me taking a stab at producing, and developing my second season and a new company, which led me to my first book which was available in book stores across N.A. Life absolutely is a journey!

This was one of my most favourite interviews and once you watch it you will see why.
I will post an interview a day. Each interviewer was an Order of Canada recipient of a leading Canadian figure, very interesting to watch. Yes, am aware how uncouth my style was but as I said, it was a previous chapter in my life. Onward and forward.

Just received a note from Jim Cuddy, and he told me that he endorses my new 2nd book! He endorsed my first book too!

I invite all of you, women, ready for 'more', to get a copy!
The book is filled with power, including my own, story, with a Canadian jewel, the fifth-largest energy company in North America; with a purpose statement that commits to "caring for each other". This company enabled, dismissed, and then covered up sexual policy abuses by its own CEO.
Not sure if that is cause for concern, or if we are to just look the other way? But, i do know, this is not what the movement is all about. Too many women, like me, must deal with career, health, and life, hijacking! The book is full of the life lessons I have learned as a Executive Life Coach; namely how to stay standing when the setbacks in life occur.
Moral and ethical policy expectations are to be applied equally to Executives, employees, and, as in my case, an independent service provider; but they seem to not always be. How do we pivot, stay strong or respond?
Despite having a position of honour on the global stage; ranked by Forbes Global 2000, as the 252nd-largest, public energy, company in the world the stated standards of business conduct seem to have been dismissed. TWO times. Yet, it was declared, “no improprieties”; despite substantiated claims!?? Both times the company policy, seemed to my lawyer, clearly breached. Our legal attempts for justice, years ago, were shut down. I was threatened with a legal battle that I could not afford.
