Final Furlong We list any Thoroughbreds that have raced that are in need of a second career. This is a free service offered for horses in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Final Furlong is a Manitoba-based non-profit that works toward finding new homes for retired racehorses and pony horses, and advocates for the Thoroughbred breed. We will list any Thoroughbreds that have raced that are in need of a second career, and/or new homes. Listings are updated weekly during the race season at Assiniboia Downs, and we will post courtesy listings during non-peak times.

Trainer says this mare is a Broodmare prospect or first horse. She isn't capable of heavy work (previously had pneumonia)
Easy to handle, super kind horse.
In full grain, not currently in work.

Trainer says she may need some time to get over some body soreness. Good to handle ,pretty mellow,good for farrier.
Handler is 6ft tall.
