It is time to get caught up on our courtesy posts. The following was sent to us:

Crowned Royal is a 7 year old gelding that has had a year off. owners did not want to part with him as he was a farm favourite. He came to me as i have an arena to ride and show him off. He adapted very well as this is a new place and this was his first ride after a year off. Puppy dog personality that will follow you around the arena. This is a horse that you can start riding right away as he has had time off. This is a pretty cool horse.

Would like to congratulate Next Chapter Standardbreds! 6 posts, 6 Standardbreds found new home! 👏 Excellent job!

We have posted 6 horses over the past few months and all 6 have found new homes!

Prices have ranged from $500 to $3,000, depending on gender, size, confirmation, soundness, etc. That's 6 horses that will be ambassadors for Standardbreds in their second careers!

Owners and trainers, please keep us in mind as an option for listing your horses when they are done racing!

If you have purchased a standardbred through us, please keep us updated on their progress. We would love pictures and videos!

That's a wrap on the 2026 Assiniboia Downs race season.

We saw some new faces in the barns this year (would live to see you all back next year!) and hope everyone has a good winter.

We've updated our listings as best we can, please see the pinned post at the top of our page for a listing of the horses that are still available. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19Z9ULsHh4/

As usual, we will continue posting courtesy posts in a week's time.
