Rural Impact Network A community of women who come together to support and empower one another.

Women empowerment is about creating a world where women have equal opportunities to reach their full potential and to participate in all aspects of society without discrimination or oppression. It means enabling women to have control over their lives, to make their own choices, and to have a voice in decision-making processes that affect them. Empowering women is essential for achieving gender equality and for creating a more just and equitable society. Women's empowerment can be achieved through education, access to resources and services, economic empowerment, political participation, and the promotion of women's rights and freedoms. At its core, women empowerment is about recognizing the inherent value and dignity of all women and promoting their well-being, safety, and freedom from violence and exploitation. It is about creating a world where women can thrive and fulfill their potential, and where their contributions are valued and celebrated.

What a wonderful morning at the Eastman Non-Profit Leadership Conference! 💙

There is something pretty special about bringing together people who work and volunteer in our nonprofit communities. So much heart, passion, knowledge and a genuine desire to make a difference.

It was an incredible opportunity to connect, share ideas, learn from one another and build relationships with people who understand the joys (and challenges!) of doing this work.

A huge thank you to Ashley and the team at Volunteer Manitoba for sharing your knowledge and creating such a meaningful space for connection and learning.

Thank you to Allie and team at Community Futures Winnipeg River for your incredible support of our rural communities, and to RBC for supporting the conference through the Stronger Non-Profits Program.

I’m leaving this morning feeling inspired and reminded of just how powerful our rural nonprofit community can be when we come together. 🌱💙

Connection. Collaboration. Community. That’s what Rural Impact is all about.

September is here... but honestly? I’m not quite ready. Anyone else? 🍂☕

If things have been quiet around here this summer, it was completely intentional. I chose to slow down and put my family first.

Back in May, I took the Stop Carrying It All workshop with Jennifer Beitz (followed by some game-changing 1-on-1 coaching). It was the exact wake-up call I needed, launching me straight into a much-needed "self-care summer." 🧘‍♀️✨

Taking time to reset was incredible, but shifting into autumn mode still feels a bit fast!

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you’re carrying the weight of the world, I can’t recommend Jen enough. She’s hosting her next Stop Carrying It All workshop on October 7th! 🙌

🎟️ Tickets are live now! Grab yours via the link below.

Drop a 🙋‍♀️ in the comments if you’re also feeling the September transition lag!
