A post of termendour gratitude
Animal welfare work is never ending, stressful and emotional.
Those who do it dont stop for 3 or more reasons. Every animal or person helped is a success.
We meet many kind, caring, and dedicated people along the way.
And every thank you, every donation, and every kind word or action says what we are doing is recognized, appreciated and valued.
Often the support comes without a specific request but sometimes it needs to be requested.
That was the case when the 20 year old vehicle that Fixing Feral Felines depends on, needed over $1000 in repairs and the funds were not available.
Thus, I reached out to someone I met last year who is a very kind, generous, caring and compassionate person.
He is the owner of McPhillips Toyota. The vehicle is a vibe,reason which was another this was an suitable request option.
The result was beyond our expectations. McPhillips Toyota made a generous donation to cover the total cost of repairs needed plus some extra ... which will cover the cost of an oil change.
The direct service benefits of this donation to Fixing Feral Felines is obvious. The indirect benefits of this kind of support is beyond measure. This appreciation of our work is what keeps us going, boosts our morale, and strenghts our determination.
