Frost & Flair Fashion Show-more details*
Hello everyone! By now, chances are you’ve heard a whisper, seen a sneak-peek video, or caught some good old-fashioned word-of-mouth buzz about the Frost & Flair Fashion Show happening this Saturday January 24th. And let us tell you — the excitement is real. We cannot wait to see you there, and we are just as thrilled to finally unveil some truly incredible pieces.
There’s been a little chatter that much of the fashion might be coming straight from our thrift store, Thrift & Thrive. While you will see some beloved thrifted finds strutting their stuff, the real star of the show comes from an extraordinarily generous donation we received a few months ago from Maureen (Mo) Gunn.
If the name rings a bell, it should — Mo owned the boutique Catwalk in Brandon before deciding to retire with her husband and chase warmer winters (and honestly, who wouldn’t?). What started as a simple hanger purchase for our thrift store turned into a conversation about community initiatives…which turned into a text two months later asking, “Do you still have your store?”
As it turns out, Mo had planned to sell off the remainder of her boutique inventory before moving, but time had other ideas. Instead, she reached out to see if we’d be interested in taking the rest of her stored items — along with brand-new shoes still in their boxes — at a deeply discounted price. After a quick board discussion, the answer was a unanimous YES. Rachelle and I showed up with a trailer…and left with it absolutely packed. We were blown away by her generosity and immediately knew this was something special.
Here’s the part that didn’t quite fit on the poster: Mo also loved to sew. That means beyond brand-name clothing and shoes, we’re talking oodles of fabric, thread, notions, zippers, beads — you name it. Crafters and sewists, this is your moment. Truly, there’s something for everyone.
A quick note on pricing: items will range from classic thrift-store prices to deeply discounted brand-name pieces, including both new and gently loved finds. High fashion without the high price tag, on the majority of the items.
So, grab a friend — or just bring yourself — and enjoy an afternoon of fashion, fun, and community. Sip on a mocktail from our bar sponsored by RFNOW, snack lightly, and enjoy the show. Tables can be reserved, no tickets are required, and donations at the door are gratefully accepted. All our models — adults and children alike — are local, and we’re incredibly thankful for their enthusiasm and support. For this event only, we’ll be accepting cash, debit, Mastercard, and Visa for your post shopping experience.
