We would like to recognize and commend Parks Canada for their continued dedication, collaboration, and contributions to Indigenous communities across the country.

Through initiatives such as the Indigenous Guardians Program and the important work being done at Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site, Parks Canada continues to help create meaningful spaces where Indigenous histories, cultures, languages, and traditions are honoured and celebrated.

ANPSS is always proud to partner with Parks Canada on various initiatives and community collaborations throughout the year. Their respect, commitment, and willingness to work alongside Indigenous communities does not go unnoticed.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Simon Laquerre and the Parks Canada team for sharing this beautiful video montage highlighting Indigenous Guardian teams and communities from across Canada.

We are especially proud to see Timiskaming First Nation represented in this video, with photos captured during the pow-wow by Stephany Lafave featured in the Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue segment. ❤️

Miigwetch / Nakurmiik / Thank you for the important work you continue to do.
