Norton Fire would like to extend our gratitude to the Family of Bill Hart. As many know Bill served his community as a member for over 50 yrs. His family graciously donated funds back to NFD after his passing. This was so kind and thoughtful!! Thank you!!!

NFD will set Fireworks off NB Day as long as the fireban is in yellow or green and as long as the weather permits.

Pls slow down especially on the highway. It’s the LAW!!!

In New Brunswick, the "Move Over" law requires drivers to slow down to half the posted speed limit, proceed with caution, and move over to an adjacent lane (if safe) when passing stopped emergency or service vehicles with flashing lights. This applies to police, ambulance, fire, tow trucks, and public utility vehicles. Failing to obey the "Move Over" law results in a $292.50 fine and three demerit points.

Reduce your speed to 50% of the posted limit and move over to create space to protect first responders and roadside workers from passing traffic. As a community, we are all responsible for everyone’s safety on our roads!

Due to the fact that our area is now in the “red zone” for the burn ban we are not able to put off fireworks tonight.
