Putting For Cancer

On this difficult Yom HaZikaron, our Larger Than Life family unites in the memory of loved ones, the fallen and those through acts of terror who will always remain in our hearts.

When Ronnie Termin was in the 11th grade, he was dealing with AML Leukemia. The family didn't leave him for a moment, and his big brother Shay also spent many nights next to his bed.
When the war broke out on October 23, Shay enlisted in the reserves and fought in the 55th Division designed by the paratroopers' spearhead. Two months later, on a rainy winter day in December, Shay fell in battle.

Today, Roni works with Large Than Life through his national service, supporting children and families battling cancer and continuing to spread Shay’s message, of unconditional love. Shay believed in man, and believed that everyone could be a source of good in the world. Today, for Remembrance Day, we join Roni and invite each and every one to do something good for Shay's light. Even a smile can change the person in front of you're day.
In memory of Shay Teramin RIP and all the heroes of Israel who have fallen protecting the country.

Purim has already arrived at the Kindergarten of Dreams in the Tel Aviv area 🥳🤡 and it is especially sweet this year! Our Purim Mishloach Manot gift packages have brought joy to the preschoolers, but that's only the beginning, because each box helps fund life-saving treatments, emotional and financial support that helps hundreds of children with cancer in the battle of their life.

Today on You can help provide a child receiving a life-saving bone marrow transplant, a safe, sterile and less lonely hospital isolation room. https://largerthanlifecanada.crowdchange.ca/112019
To ensure the effectiveness of the transplant procedure, and as part of the preparatory stages towards it, the child undergoes a series of aggressive chemotherapy treatments designed to eliminate the immune system’s ability to fight and reject transplants. From the moment of receiving the chemotherapy treatment, the child enters a special isolation room, for a period of 1 to 3 months.
