⭐️  The “You Eat Yet” Campaign features a variety of cultural dishes from across the Asian diaspora. Serving beautiful looks and shareable platters, this menu showcases what was shared at the table.

🫂 For our , we did an open casting to find Asian volunteer models willing to participate in our cultural potluck lunch and wear their traditional garments. Each of them brought a dish from their country for us to share and discuss cultural memories and experiences.

⚠️ Many Asian cuisines are popularized and integrated into one another’s cultural dishes. Not every dish shown here represents that country’s origin, but rather some of the participants’ favourite or most significant dish from their culture.

⭐️ “You Eat Yet” is a campaign that brought together Asian-Canadians from different cultures, backgrounds, and lived experiences to reflect on what it means to gather, share, and be seen. Through cultural dishes, traditional garments, and conversations around identity, the series celebrates the many ways culture is carried, preserved, and lovingly passed around the table.

⭐️ Meet all the models that made our “You Eat Yet” campaign possible ⭐️

🫂 In creating this campaign for , we did an open casting to find Asian representatives to volunteer their time in participating in our cultural potluck lunch and wear their traditional garments. After receiving over 15 applicants, we accepted them all to join us in sharing their cultural dishes, experiences, and stories at a shared table, featuring a photoshoot and a candid podcast-style video.

💭 Our Campaign titled “You Eat Yet” captures a range of experiences and stories told by participants from across the Asian diaspora, sharing deep connection and cultural roots in a potluck-lunch style that is candid and authentic.

⭐️ “You Eat Yet” is a campaign that brought together Asian-Canadians from different cultures, backgrounds, and lived experiences to reflect on what it means to gather, share, and be seen. Through cultural dishes, traditional garments, and conversations around identity, the series celebrates the many ways culture is carried, preserved, and lovingly passed around the table.

Through cultural dishes, traditional garments, and conversations around identity, the series celebrates the many ways culture is carried, preserved, and lovingly passed around the table.

🫂 Featuring participants representing the Philippines, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, and the wider Asian diaspora, this series reflects the richness of cultural expression through food, clothing, and community.

“WHAT DISH DID YOU BRING?” 🍚❤️

⭐️ We invited members of the Asian diaspora to share their name, where they’re from, and the dish they brought to the table.

🍜 From family recipes to cultural staples, each dish carries a story of home, tradition, memory, migration, care, and the many ways love is passed down without always being said.

🥰 At the table, food becomes a language of its own, speaking to family, culture, belonging, and the quiet ways we are cared for.

➡️ Through every dish, we are reminded that culture is not only inherited but also shared, preserved, and lovingly passed around the table. Across the Asian diaspora, food is more than something we eat; it is how we gather, how we remember, and how we show love.

Introducing our campaign titled:
“You Eat Yet?” 🥢🥟🍚🍊

⭐️ “You Eat Yet?” is an ode to the shared experiences many Asian-Canadians have with their parents, guardians and loved ones when it comes to expressing care through food, gathering and tradition.

➡️ This campaign brings together individuals from across the Asian diaspora, including South, East and Southeast Asian communities, for a lunch-time potluck discussion centred around culture, memory and identity. Through traditional garments, shared meals and honest conversations, the campaign explores the many ways we experience and express what it means to be Asian.

➡️ At its core, “You Eat Yet?” is about love languages passed down through recipes, acts of service, and the stories that live within our communities passed down through generations.
