Congratulations to all of the players who earned a spot on this year’s, post-season teams! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the season paid off, and you should be incredibly proud.

To every player who stepped onto the field and gave the tryouts their all, keep your heads high! Being willing to compete, take risks, and chase big goals is something to be proud of, and this is what Highlands is all about.

Now let’s get ready for an exciting postseason! More baseball, more memories, more snacks consumed at the field than should be humanly possible, and maybe a few more gray hairs for the parents 😬

If you have seen our Storm girls teams at the field this season, you may have seen and wondered about the SG crest on the sleeve of our jerseys.

This is to celebrate the life of Sonia Gadtke, a wonderful person in the Highlands community that we lost last year to cancer. She loved baseball and was a big supporter of the Girls Baseball Movement. The two Storm teams have dedicated this season to her memory.

As we head to the Amanda Asay All Girls Jamboree in Whalley this weekend, we couldn’t be prouder to be wearing the SG in her honor.
