As we begin thinking ahead to Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) 2027, we're looking for input to help shape the direction of next year's campaign. We want to ensure our efforts reflect the needs, priorities, and experiences of the people and communities we serve.

Out of discussion with the EDAW 2026 working committee, we've created a survey in hopes that you will share thoughts on what themes, resources, events, and activities would be most meaningful and useful for you and your community. Please use this survey link to share your thoughts by June 30th : https://forms.gle/9ayUVhV13Cj3nSRT6

The survey results will be reviewed and consolidated to inform discussions and planning with our national EDAW working group this fall. More details on that to come soon!

Thank you in advance for sharing your ideas and helping shape EDAW 2027. We're grateful for your perspectives and look forward to hearing from you!

Fat Joke by Cheyenne Rouleau is coming to Presentation House Theatre from April 16 – 18, 2026! 🎤😂

A fusion of stand-up comedy and storytelling, Fat Joke unapologetically thrusts fatphobia into the spotlight. Comedian, actor, and writer Cheyenne Rouleau’s razor-sharp wit will surgically dissect everything you think you know about bodies, diet culture, and what it means to feel s*xy and powerful in your own skin.

Brace yourself for a night of social commentary that keeps you laughing at every turn!

Tickets and info at phtheatre.org/fat-joke-april-2026/

Ages: 14+
Note it does include strong language and references to s*x and other adult activities and may not be appropriate for younger audiences, but is a great exploration of an empowered relationship with your body for older teen audiences and adults.

EmbodyBC just released a new infosheet!

This infosheet is supporting parents, caregivers, and professionals to better understand gender identity, s*xual orientation, puberty, and mental health across childhood and adolescence. We know that affirming and supportive environments matter for lifelong wellbeing and eating disorder prevention.

Created to help adults start conversations early, respond with care, and support 2SLGBTQIA+ youth’s wellbeing.
