As we prepare to open the doors for the last time here at the Salvation Army Thrift Store in North Sydney, we want to take a moment to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to this incredible community for making our store what it was.
Whether you donated, shopped with us, volunteered, or simply stopped by to say hello, you were such an important part of our store. You made it so much more than just a thrift store — you filled it with kindness, friendship, laughter, and so many wonderful memories.
Thank you for all the love, support, conversations, smiles, and laughs you’ve shared with us over the years. We feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to serve this community and to have met so many amazing people along the way.
Today is a difficult day, but we find comfort in knowing that the memories and friendships we’ve made will stay with us long after these doors close. We will never forget the impact each and every one of you has had on our lives, or how much this community has meant to us.
