We’re hiring a Director of Maintenance at The Northside Community Guest Home!

If you have a trades background and experience keeping buildings and equipment in good working order, we’d like to hear from you.

This is a hands-on position leading our maintenance team, handling repairs and upkeep, coordinating contractors, and planning larger projects.

Applicants required to have a high school diploma with relevant trade training, and experience with building maintenance and mechanical systems. An electrical trade qualification and/or experience supervising staff would be assets.

Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with flexibility needed for facility needs and emergency call-ins.

📣 We’re hiring a Casual Recreation Programmer!

Join our team at The Northside Community Guest Home and help enhance residents’ quality of life through meaningful activities, creative programs, and community outings.

Pay range: $27.36–$29.23
Casual position, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

We’re looking for someone with:
✔️ A diploma or degree in Recreation, Community Studies, or a related field
✔️ Experience in geriatric or recreational programming
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔️ Current CPR and WHMIS certifications
✔️ The ability to obtain a Class 4 Driver’s Licence
✔️ A satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check, is required.
