As this chapter comes to a close, I just want to say thank you.
Being President of NUBASE was never about the title or something to put on a resume — because a title is just a name unless you do something with it. For me, it was about impact, about people, and about building something bigger than myself.
To every student, community member, campus admin, and organization we worked with — thank you for believing, supporting, and showing up. Everything we created this year, from events to moments of connection, was built together.
Advocacy has always been at the center of it all. Making sure people feel seen, heard, and valued — that’s what mattered most.
I’m especially grateful to God for the opportunity, the strength, and the guidance through it all.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that everything in life requires a step of faith. Whether it’s getting into your homie’s car knowing they’re a crazy driver 😭 or walking into an exam hoping for the best after not studying — it all takes faith. And at the end of the day, it comes down to what you choose to put your faith in.
So whatever it is you’re chasing — just know this:
YOU CAN DO IT.
You’ve done it before. Believe in yourself again.
