Today is an opportunity to honour the Survivors, children, families, and communities impacted by the residential school system, while reflecting on the history and ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

Congratulations Linda on your retirement! You've had a huge impact on the business community in the Battlefords.

This week, many community members, past board members of the Chamber, and business and community leadership joined together for Linda Machniak’s retirement barbecue.

I shared words of thanks to Linda Machniak with the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce for serving the City of North Battleford and the regional business community for 25 years. We heard speakers talk about her leadership not only here at home but across the province and at the national level. The business community in The Battlefords has been fortunate to benefit from the passion, dedication, heart and professionalism of Linda over these last 25 years.
