Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre This non-profit corporation and registered charity has been operating a food bank and several other services to the community in Saskatchewan. to 3:00 p.m.

Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre (Food Bank)

The Empty Stocking Fund is a registered charity that exists in partnership with the community to provide emergency food from our food bank and other services and programs. Our aim is to assist those affected by poverty in the Battlefords. Our programs include:

Christmas Hampers: providing Christmas meal ham

pers and toys to needy families. Food for Kids: distributing food to elementary students from food insecure households
Milk for Kids: providing fresh milk to families with children
Coats for Kids: the collection of winter clothing for children
Income Tax Preparation: free income tax service for low-income household
Plant a Row Grow a Row: encouraging gardeners in the community to grow a bit extra for the food bank
Fine Option Program: assist individuals to find a community service opportunity

We uphold the principles of integrity, justice, charity, and compassion to meet the needs of our donors and clients. We are a proud member of Food Banks of Saskatchewan and an affiliate member of Food Banks Canada. We are regulated by the ethical codes of these associations. Location and office hours:

Our administrative office is open from 9:00 a.m. Monday- Friday. Our food bank is open from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30am Monday-Friday
