October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible pastors and local churches across Canada who stand alongside Safe Families!

Safe Families Canada exists because local churches answer the call to love their neighbours in tangible, life-changing ways. To the pastors and ministry leaders who: Pray faithfully for isolated families in crisis. Open your church doors to build circles of support. Encourage your congregations to host, mentor, and serve. Continually champion child abuse prevention and family preservation…THANK YOU!

Our Safe Families Canada chapter has been incredibly blessed this year. We thank God for every volunteer, donor, supporting church and individual who prays for us and the families we get to serve. Our office is closed today in observance of Truth and Reconciliation Day.

On this day we ask God, our Father, to reaffirm our relationship with one another and our commitment to move forward in partnership with our Indigenous brothers and sisters in the spirit of reconciliation. We ask He guides our work together to build a future where every child is safe and all families stay together.

We thank Him for the opportunity to serve and love Him and everyone in this wonderful community through the work of Safe Families Canada.

Feeling blessed after a very successful Cart Races event! This is the kind of event that takes a village to put on so we hope you all feel the joy of hearing that together we raised $26,000 for our Safe Families Canada chapter! A very special thanks to everyone who volunteered on the day of to put on such a fun event for our community. Huge shout out to Discovery Co-op for letting us borrow 67 grocery carts for the races, and to every single person and business who donated. We hope you are blessed in return. Stay tuned for pictures of the event!
