During this week's Happy Snacker program we made apple donuts! Children and their caregivers were given the ingredients and freedom to create whatever they thought looked and tasted good. This provided children with the opportunity to interact with a variety of foods to create their own snack.

Allowing your child to participate in making a snack is a great way to expose them to a variety of textures, smells and tastes. Participation in meal or snack making is a great way to help encourage your child to interact with or try foods they may not be ready to eat.

Lots of fun was had making sock puppets today at the FRC! Maggie and Giana even used their sock puppet to help them read a story at circle time.

Anyone that is interested in child car seat information can chat with a technician during Stay & Play on Tuesday, February 3rd between 10:00 a.m. and noon - could be helpful if you are prenatal and installing your first seat or transitioning to a new seat or just unsure about any aspect related to child car seats - we will offer this again on March 10
