Meet David, one of our operations staff coming through our partnership with WEC Deutschland. David has been here since last August and has served in a variety of capacities including raft guiding, cleaning chief, as well as many other areas around camp! He will be heading back to Germany at the end of August, we are super grateful for everything he’s contributed to Frontier and know that God has great things in store for him back home!

We had our annual Gull Lake trips last week! Level 1 took on day trips rappelling, rock climbing and biking (photos 1-3). They focused on togetherness during this time. Level 2 went camping and hiking in the David Thompson Corridor, they also did a Tyrolean traverse (photos 4-6). The focus for this crew was spiritual disciplines. Level 3 went white water rafting on the Kootenay River (photos 7-9). They focused on spiritual gifting while enjoying amazing views and great weather. Thank you to the whole crew that came out and we look forward to more adventures!!!

☀️ Meet Ceanna, our Summer Camp Coordinator!

After months of planning and praying, Ceanna is so excited to welcome campers to Frontier this summer! Her favourite Frontier adventures are anything on the water—especially rafting and canoeing. 🌊🛶

She’s especially looking forward to evenings around the lakeside campfire, worshipping together, hearing stories of what God is doing, and sharing memories from each day’s adventures.

We’re so excited to have Ceanna on the team and can’t wait to see all that God has in store this summer!✨

We hosted the Sutherland’s annual friends and family Canada Day camp out this past weekend! We’re thankful the rain mostly held off for a fun day of adventures together! Thank you to all who came out for your support and enthusiasm for Frontier Lodge!

First Christian Reformed Church of Edmonton joined us for a beautiful day of rafting for their youth retreat at the beginning of June! We enjoyed some sun, rapids and a couple rounds of king of the raft to close out an epic day! Thanks for coming out!

Red Deer Regional Catholic Schools joined us for the first time for their international high school students retreat! They enjoyed some bonding time while hiking and enjoying the beauty of the Rockies!
