Our XRay elimination draw fundraiser is almost 80% sold. Message or post here if you want a square. $50 every tenth pulled, $100 for 50th out and $500 for last out. Proceeds go to Nokomis Health Centre Foundation XRay fundraiser and the curling club to purchase curling supplies and equipment.

Let's have some fun this weekend and raise some money. During the bonspiel the Curling Club is holding a 100 square elimination draw. Half of proceeds will be donated to the Nokomis Health Foundation's XRAY fundraiser. Last year Lavern Sobus won the $500.00 last out prize and just over $800.00 was donated to the Health Foundation through winner donated prizes and the proceeds of the draw.
Prizes: $500 for last number pulled. $100 for fiftieth pulled, $50 each on every tenth number pulled.
Cost: 100 squares available at $20 each.
Come down to the rink after 5pm Friday or all-day Saturday to buy squares. Or reply to this post with your request.
Requests for specific numbers are first come first served. Curling Club will assign another number of their choice if your requested is taken.
Etransfers accepted at: [email protected] (automatic deposit enabled). Draw will be made when all squares are sold. If all squares are sold during bonspiel, draws will made on Saturday and winners posted here.

It's bonspiel weekend in Nokomis. We have 12 teams in our bonspiel with three draws Friday night starting at 5pm and draws all day Saturday starting at 9 am. Head down to the rink to watch some curling, have a drink in the lounge or food in the booth. There is a provincial U13 game on Friday night at 7:30 and a U11 game on Saturday at 2pm. See you at the rink!

The air is chilly and the curling ice is going in soon. If you plan to curl this season, please message the club on Facebook or add your name to sign up sheets at the post office. If you are brand new to curling, we will have some free private new curler sessions when it's convenient for you. No equipment required as the club can provide equipment.
